Participants are responsible for their own travel to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Please plan to arrive no later than the evening of July 27, 2014. The program will conclude early the afternoon of Friday, August 8, 2014.
Champaign has a local airport (CMI) located ten minutes from campus by taxi. Other nearby airports include Bloomington (BMI), approximately one hour away by car, and Chicago O'Hare (ORD), approximately three hours by car.

The registration fee includes all Summer Institute accommodations in Newman Hall, one of the campus dormitories, from Sunday, July 27, through Friday, August 8.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on each weekday of the Summer Institute.
The Summer Institute is sponsored by NSF IGERT, NIH M-CNTC, NSF EBICS, CNST, and NSF nanoBIO node.
The overall objective is to enhance the ability to address challenges in Cancer Nanotechnology and Mechanobiology. The 2014 Summer Institute offers expertise from interdisciplinary faculty in biology, engineering, materials science, and nanotechnology through a combination of lectures and hands-on lab experiences.
